Baby’s Dignity Restored with Incontinence Mix
Around age 13 years, "Baby", my female Lhasa Apso, began having little accidents in the house and was having trouble waiting to get outside (I live in an apartment building with an elevator. The trip from the front door to grass is five minutes, at least.) I spoke to her Vet who told me there wasn't much he could do. She was already taking several medications and neither he nor I wanted to give her more. He also felt the available medication was not right for Baby's situation, that it was intended for dogs who urinate in their sleep, for example. He thought she might be purposely misbehaving (she was, after all, a Lhasa!).
I began walking her every four hours during the day, and carrying her from my apartment to the grass outside. I was fortunate to work close by and came home for lunch. I happily cut short shopping trips and family visits to walk and care for Baby. But her incontinence continued so I turned to the Internet.
