How do I start doing the test?
Start by clicking on the 'Take the Test' link on the right side of the screen.

Which username and password should I enter?
You many enter any username and password that you can easily remember. Don't use spaces and unusual characters.

What if I get disconnected from the internet while I'm doing it?
If you get disconnected, log onto the Net again and use the 'Login' facility to continue the test where you left off. You will have to re-enter your username and password.

How many times do I get to answer the test?
You get to answer the test once for every time you sign up using a particular username.

How long am I allowed to take?
You can take as long as you like. However, we recommend that you complete attempting all questions in around 45 minutes.

Can I do a little bit at a time?
Yes, you can do the test a little bit at a time, though this is not recommended. Use the login facility to continue where you left off.

How many sections does the test have?
The test has 5 sections. These are Skills and Attitudes, Vocabulary, Comprehension, Logic and Computer & Internet Skills.

How do I know how much of the test I've answered?
See the colored bar at the top of every page to see how far you've gone.

How many chances do I get to do the test?
Unless recommended by your counselor, you get just one chance to do the test.

Do I have to answer all the questions?
Yes, you have to choose a response or answer to each and every question in the test.

Can I go back and see the questions after the test?
Yes, you can go back using your 'back' button and see the questions and your answers to them.

Can I go back and answer the questions again?
No, you cannot answer the questions a second time.

This could be because of an extremely slow internet speed. Try again later or contact your ISP.

I can't login to see my results, my password and username aren't being accepted.
Enter your username and password in lower case (small letters). If it is still not being accepted, use the 'HELP' facility to contact Technical Support.

No, you are not being timed.

Can I see my results again?
Yes, you can view your results at any time by using the LOGIN facility. You will have to enter your username and password to gain access.

You can print out a copy of your results for your records. If you want to access your results to do so, you can use the LOGIN facility.

No one else sees your results.

You will have to use the LOGIN page to view your results. Enter you username and password to do so.

What does the graph on the results page mean?
The graph shows you your score in the different sections of the test. A low score signifies a weak area, a high score signifies a strength in the area being tested. Read below the graph for more on how to interpret your results.

My results are pretty bad, what do I do?
You will have to concentrate on building up skills in your weak areas. Your Counselor will help you acquire basic instruction.
