You are here: Home > Online Consultation > Preamble Australian users of this website should be aware of national regulations, which prevent the advertising and sale of herbal products which are not registered with the appropriate authorities. Other laws allow me, as a professional Herbalist, to make up herbal treatments for any person who seeks out my help and advice. The disclaimer on the bottom of this page further explains this situation. Accordingly I offer the following standard human prescriptions to international clients only. Australian clients should first consult with me regarding their individual health problems and I can then make up prescriptions for them on a case by case basis. Standard Human Prescription Mixes: As a professional Herbalist I am reluctant to compromise on my professional practice by presenting to the open market, a range of standard preparations. This because I know better than most that there are no generalizations which apply to all patients or to most health conditions (every individuals illness and reason for ill health is unique in some respect). However, there is an amazing and confusing array of products and treatments out there for common conditions, and many of them are not much good and obviously not based on anything like the depth of experience which I have in practice. I therefore offer the following do-it-yourself range of prescriptions for simple to deal with conditions. They are all completely safe when used as directed and I encourage you to contact me for clarification, recommendations and advice as to their utility over the phone or the Internet. Comfrey: Australian residents also should be aware that local regulations prohibit me from prescribing the herb Comfrey in internal mixes. When treating such clients I therefore subsitute the herb Elecampane for Comfrey as the former also contains allantoin which is one of the main ingredients I am seeking from Comfrey. Comfrey is a controversial herb and is banned in some countries. While laboratory analysis prove the presence of some poisonous ingredients (as also in the case of potatoes); several trials have apparently produced liver damage in other animals (also possible with an overdose of carrots); cell damage in vitrio and cancer in rodents; all professional herbalists know that small doses of Comfrey are extremely valuable in providing a wide range of healing properties. In my professional career I have never registered an adverse reaction to the use of Comfrey in treating animals internally or my human patients residing overseas and I am totally confident that the trigger dose levels I include in cancer support, spleen, bone and connective tissue healing mixes is completely safe. Online Consultations for Non Australian Residents: I am also happy to offer you a full one hour interactive and personal consultation online. Briefly this has you answer a comprehensive series of questions which rate your health in a variety of ways and provides immediate feedback and recommendations to you based on your responses. In addition, you submit written information relating to your specific health history, treatments and concerns and I spend a full hour assessing both the results of the questionaire and the written material. I then mail to you a comprehensive written report, recommendations and treatment package. All this for US$95.00 (treatments additional, usually $46.00 for six weeks).
