Urinary Tract Infections UTI's

Chronic U.T.I.'s are not only uncomfortable but dangerous, especially if found in younger children or paraplegics for example. In these cases repeated exposure to antibiotics often deplete their immunity to such an extent as to threaten kidney viability and in the end, life itself.

Most urinary tract problems arise from not enough good quality fluid in a persons daily intake.

Habitually many people ignore thirst signals and ultimately pride themselves that they can go all day without drinking much at all. Younger children, especially girls, may be reluctant to use the school toilets and therefore learn to hold on throughout the day. Others drink nothing but caffein, tannin or highly chemical sugar drinks as a matter of routine and do not provide any useable fluid to the kidneys even though their intake may be large enough in volume terms. Still others drink nothing but fruit juices in the belief that they are healthier than water.

Pure Orange and Apple Juice, although high in vitamin C, are also very acidic, and too much of such strongly acid fluid will upset the chemistry of the fluids in your system and overload the kidneys as well.

I strongly advise any parents to ensure their children grow up with healthy drinking habits and all adults that plain water should form the largest part of your daily fluid intake. Further, that there are a wide range of herbal teas (beyond regular tea and coffee) which contribute to kidney health rather than detract from it as do tea and coffee. The best of these herb teas is Rosehips Tea which on its own will often reverse even severe kidney problems.

The herbal mix I have made up to deal with urinary tract infections and which is a very safe and simple home remedy to be taken (along with copious amounts of water and/ or Rosehips Tea) at the first signs of any UTI, contains the herbs:- Alfalfa, Buchu, Dandelion, Echinacaea, Garlic, Rosehips, Uva Ursi and Yarrow along with the Bach Flowers Rescue Remedy and Wild Rose.

Most dialysis patients start off as persons ineffectively treated for urinary tract infections which are so simple to treat herbally that it is an absolute crime that Urologists are not trained to utilize traditional knowledge as an initial treatment approach.
