Myasthenia Gravis is an autoimmune disease that cause episodes of muscular weakness due to abnormal functioning of the neuromuscular junction. The immune system produces antibodies that attack the receptors that receive nerve signals. The disease more often occurs in women and begins during the years 20-40 years.
The most common symptoms are a weakening of eye muscles, drooping eye lids, double vision,, excessive muscle fatigue after exercise. As well, difficulty in speech, swallowing and weakness of arms and legs are common. The disease does not follow an even course and exacerbations are common.
My mix includes Comfrey, Equisteum, Saw Palmetto, Hypericum, Mugwort, Skullcap, Nettle and Sage along with the Bach Flowers Clematis and Wild Oat. These herbs work together to accurately replicate tissue cells, improve circulation to the central nervous system, renew and balance nervous system function and support the muscles and nerve sheaths.
