IS THERE A SAFE NON - DROUSY TREATMENT I CAN USE FOR A NERVOUS HORSE?

I would suggest the nervous rehabilitation mix for your horse, which is found at the following link:
http://www.herbal-treatments.com/horse_nervous_rehabilitation.html

This mix comes as a 1 litre bottle for $71.50, plus postage and this is given at a dose rate of 10mls twice a day. It will not make the horse sleepy at all. It actually works to strengthen the nervous system.

Most horses only require 1-2 courses of this mix with perhaps a repeat 12months down the track.

At home include some chamomile tea in the horse's feed. This is an excellent calmer for horses that are quite gut reactive in their nervousness, e.g. loose manure's, colicky, etc. You could also include some brewers yeast in the feed, which would provide a great Source of B vitamins.

There is also a little homeopathic remedy called Bach Flower's Rescue Remedy. http://www.herbal-treatments.com/dog_rescue_remedy.html

It is great for shock, fright, panic, etc and is a great addition to the first aid cupboard for humans and animals. It can be given frequently for as long as required.

Should you require more information or have further queries do not hesitate to contact me.
