This was true for the first 10 years of practice, but, since January 2007, Robert has handed the co-ordination and initial assessments for these Online Consultations to his Senior Herbalist (Human Health) Judith Burton.

Judith, having checked that all of the parts of the assessment are complete, allocates the Consultation to one of the four Herbalists. She also tries to match the Consult to a Herbalist with a specific interest. For Example; two of our Herbalists have a special interest in Herbal Health for Women.

In many cases two Herbalists will work together to complete an assessment. Robert and Cath McDowell work together, regularly, to complete Online Consultations. In this circumstance Robert calls on his 15 years of Herbal experience and Cath assesses the patient from an energetic healing and spiritual viewpoint. Cath has been a healer herself for 10 years and has a busy practice in her own right.

The written report which results from each Consultation reflects the consensus on both the underlying reasons for the patient's pattern of ill health and the treatment recommendations. Where staff do work collaboratively you may find (within the overall report) a separate explanation from each clinician explaining their particular perspective and making specific recommendations.

Each Herbalist prepares their own reports and email replies. The recommended Herbal support Mixes are then prepared and dispatched by staff at the Herbal Treatments' dispensary.
